Live? You mean you're in the same venue and watching Pearl Jam perform? Or live like watching them perform 'live' on TV or hearing on the radio?

Acoustic "I Believe in Miracles" (!), which isn't really a PJ song,
so I guess acoustic "Small Town" was the first PJ song I heard live.

Release, in Chicago 10-9-00. Seeing Eddie in the flesh for the very first time, and hearing him moan the opening of that song...one of my most favorite memories.

My first Pearl Jam song I heard "live" was 'Why Go' , Alpine Valley, Lolli. '92. My favorite though, has to be 'Act of Love' , Milw. Summerfest '95. I wish they would play tunes from Mirrorball live more often. They are incredible with Ed singing insteed of Neil Young. I like Neil a lot, but Ed makes it special.
Edit: if anyone has a good sounding bootleg of this show (July 09, 1995) please contact me. I'll try to make it worth it for ya.

    I wish I knew!

My first show was Lollapalooza 92 in Houston and it was all such a whilrwind, that I don't remember the set (I could barely breathe). On top of that, it is one of the few shows that I've never been able to find - the main site doesn't have a setlist for it and neither did 5h.
If anyone has any info, please let me know. :)

can't keep. that's right, my first show was on the riot act tour -- can't believe it took me so long. it was the second of two nights in irvine, ca and ed came out as the song was starting and said 'last night was better already. you guys better step it up.' thought that was pretty funny.

Long Road in San Diego 10/25/00.... and to hear it again this year (not as an opener) during the SD show. Ed's intro and story about his teacher's/mentor's inflluence on his life and others and getting the call of his passing. The inspiration behind this great song! Gave me chills. I was blown away... truely!
