we brought home ac/dc and Sabbath and my parents thought we were going to end up in hell. good times. Van Halen was also one of my first bands. good thing parents didn't hear it when we played bands like WASp and Mercyful Fate and Venom...

at first the folks didn't appreciate ac/dc very much. the neighbor kid said it was devil music. down the line a spell ac/dc was dad's band & mom didn't mind em either.

overplayed? a shit ton. I've owned back in black probably 10-20 times replacing it each time i lost it or it was stolen. Sabbath albums, stolen or lost & most were replaced.

if i hear iron man, paranoid, or sweetleaf one more time i think i may implode

do not come to my home requesting lynard skynard... i kick & i swing... blackfoot? yeah i have blackfoot

Mumford & Sons "I Will Wait"

I have come to despise that song.

Anything by Adam Levine or Maroon 5. At least once a week I find the same song playing on two different stations, or at least two different Levine/Maroon 5 songs playing at the same time. At the VERY least there is always one on. And it's always the same ones, so I'm betting even fans are starting to think it's boring.

I've pretty much stopped listening to the radio at this point. Just the same shit over and over again for the most part. I've turned completely to YouTube and Songza now.

They went away for a while, few years we call the Grunge Era, then some Ass Hats brang em back.
