lance, a-rod (again), a dozen NFL players (you never heard of) in 2012 alone....

the NBA usually tests positive for weed  , but have you seen the guns on some of those dudes?

tom verducci just said MLB's spring training test for HGH "isn't a drug test, it's an IQ test"

these dudes will never stop. might as well just accept it. it's all PEDs, all the time, in this thread.

Your guns get bigger, but your nuts are raisins. The disparity between the two must be comical. :corn:

It's amazing that owners can't void contracts for positive testing athletes

the HOF has got to figure something out. everyone is under suspicion....I don't care who you are or what a good guy you are (biggio, matt williams, etc.)....the horse has left the barn....let the numbers decide...but don't assume ONE WAY OR THE OTHER on anyone.

edit: so now I'm reading comments on Verducci's story....a lot of junior griffey is the best of all time. not so fast.....he easily, if not probably, could have juiced, too.

The Ray Lewis deer antler story is very weird, but it seems like 50% of all baseball players are wearing those stupid “power” bracelets and necklaces. It doesn’t appear to have any doping involved unless you count the dope that got swindled into this snake oil salesman scam.

the NBA policy must be extremely weak/ineffective.

no way those guys aren't using too.

As you said, it's just a swindle. Phiten has a contract with MLB, and it's working. Ever since the Texas Rangers started wearing them I don't think I've seen a boy under the age of 18 who wasn't wearing one. They lost two World Series' in a row with those things on, did San Fran and St. Louis have "better" magical necklaces?

Maybe Big Time Timmy Jim was wearing the Auryn Amulet.

Every athlete has taken some sort of "PED" in their life.

Sheeeet, I did a few cycles in high school/college and half my college soccer team was juicing regularly in the offseason.

Is that what's in the magical spray bottle that can make a man go from looking like he was just mortally wounded by the Viet Cong to running around in top form in 3 seconds flat?

so, now, stabby is denying what the deer antler guy says is completely natural and used by a bunch of other athletes.

why deny? sounds like a pretty innocent product to me....banned or not.

    yep....

    http://www.theheckler.com/2012/02/17/pr ... -steroids/

"Bowling insiders had long questioned Tatum’s performance as perhaps being artificially enhanced after the bowler put on 20 pounds of muscle and added 10 MPH to his ball speed in the last year alone. The final straw came in a Reno, Nev., tournament last month when Tatum rolled a strike with such power that several pins were cracked in half. "

    True.

But case in point, Andy Reid's son, who was serving as a strength coach in training camp was found dead with a shit load of steroids in his room. Has there been an investigation? Have you heard anything about it? Can you imagine if that shit happened in baseball?

if true, why does stabby spend so much time denying the deer antler? if this natural substance was actually used for recovery from injury, wouldn't this be a great place to start a dialog? I don't believe most of the steroid users who said they were only trying to recover from injury. cliffy had his "nice guy" - pettite - and I I had mine - matt williams. to me, there's a big difference between injury recovery and relentless PED usage. today's athletes have so many legal surgical advantages over yesterday's athletes that it seems dumb to say scoping your knee is OK but deer antler isn't. I mean, should we have guys take entire years off or retire from knee injuries like mantle had to just because it's "fair"?

they can also give you legal, artificial joint fluid these days...bet the mick wouldn't have minded some of that....with his booze ;)

and, oh by the way, what does anyone think they really do at these "anti-aging" or "wellness" clinics? :? you know the commercial for cyogenics(?) with the totally ripped 73 year old who has the insatiable sex drive? yep HGH, hCG, etc., etc. the double standard pisses me off.
