Merch left on the GO Train Toronto night 1!!!!!

edited May 2006 in Given To Fly (live)
Just wanted to post a message on here about this.

Hoping I can find the owner of 2 T-shirts left on the train. Guy got off and left a bag with 2 Tshirts in it. He was gone before I noticed he left it.

Anyways, If anyone left this on the train, or has a friend that left it on the train or knows a friend of a friend that left merch on the train, let me know.

I will take the sizing, shirt design and stop that he got off as proof.

I really hope I can return this to the rightfull owner.

So, please ask around for me.

Must've been a killer show if he was so amazed that he forgot to grab his merchandise on the way off the train.

I hope he finds you and is able to recover his stuff. Nice looking out.

Well, thanks for the kind words guys. I am just sitting here thinking "would I have been better off leaving it with the lost and found at the train station?"

This is seriously bothering me now cause the first thing I would have done is called the train station if it was me that left the stuff on the train.

Anyways. I just want the poor bastard to get his shirts. I would be devastated if it was me. So please keep this bumped.

yeah, definately better off if you try and find the rightful owners

I turned a digital camera into the train station here and to be quite honest, I don't think it ever made the lost and found box - I just got this eerie feeling as I handed over the fancy case with all the fixin's to the person behind the cage

but you might want to call the station and let them know you found something in case someone calls and inquires about it

good luck, hope you find the poor guy

You should post this on the front page, main section and at RM. Alot of people at RM don't visit here

WOW. That is a very decent thing you did. It is always nice to be reminded that with all the crap in the world that there are still nice, honest people left. Just goes to show how great the PJ community really is. Thank you and may the good karma come back to you :D

hahaha, way to be totally honest :)

I totally, totally, totally believe in karma. Maybe it's my way of rationalizing things in life, but I know that, often, when something bad happens, I can usually associate it with something I did that probably wasn't in my best interest or that of someone else.

Just like My Name is Earl :D

see what Pearl Jam does for you, you've grown as a person just by being honest and trying to return someone else's personal property.

that's one way to look at it.

I'd like to think that I'm a decent guy and I would have definitely done the same thing as you. Even if it hadn't been Pearl Jam stuff I would have liked to return the items to their owner, but knowing it's a fellow jammer makes it all the sweeter. One thing I've noticed at the few pj shows I've been to, is just how cool and connected the real fans are. Way to go man, hopefully you'll make this guys day!

I would hope someone would do the same for me, thats why I am trying to do this.... And yea, the fans are the best. Everyone I have ever talked to at a show has been extremely friendly and courteous. Not something you get at every concert.

    And done. thanks. :)
