Shortest PJ setlist you've witnessed?

I was just going thru the setlists I've seen and it was June 26, 1998 at Alpine Valley when they played 22 songs. I did see them open for The Rolling Stones in 1997 but I won't count that since they were the openning act.

I'm sure people who saw them in the early 90's saw some really short sets. But my 1st time seeing them wasn't til 1995.

What's yours?

I think the VFC finale in DC in 2004- like 5 songs or so, not counting ED joining REM or any other collaborations.

Tibetan Freedom Concert in 1998. 8 or 9 songs...

Was disappointed at first, but they exited for RHCP to immediately take stage (no gear change) and they killed.

Asheville 2004 VFC tour... 21 songs... ed was clearly sick... but the show was still great with 5th row floor tickets in front of mike in a tiny little arena... not to mention an acoustic long road to start the first encore

i was at MIA, 25 songs i think... and asheville definitely seemed shorter and definitely had fewer songs

    Groundwork 2001 in Seattle.

Gimme Some Truth, Grievance, Insignificance, Given to Fly, Light Years, Nothing As It Seems, I Am Mine, Better Man, Do the Evolution, Long Road (with Rahat Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan)

It seemed really short, less than 50 minutes? I think the crowed was a bit dissapointed on the length. (I know I was).

    Well, that was still opening.

    This was my shortest:

They had to cut the set cause of some dumbass curfew. I was near the stage and I can tell you that Ed was not happy.
  • My shortest set is a tie between Boston 1 1994 and Hartford 1998 (which was shortened when security lost control and safety of those up front was a concern). Both sets were 22 songs.

But, I was there for two of the longest sets: Mansfield 3 2003 (45 songs) and Philly 4 2009 (41 songs) so it all evens out.

I was at the show that Pearl Jam played to benefit the 25th anniversary of Northwest School where Stone went. It was March 18, 2005 at the Paramount Theater in Seattle and there were 4 acts; Bill Frisel, Ann & Nancy Wilson, The Presidents of the United States of America and of course, Pearl Jam. Me and a buddy drove from Saskatoon, SK, Canada to Seattle for this once in a lifetime show. They played 11 songs for 3,000 people. Only 400 tickets were sold to the general public; the majority were 10C & friends and fam. Two students from the school were chosen to play between sets. It... was... magical.

Finsbury Park, July 93, they played 14 songs. They were supporting Uncle Neil (although they were 4th on the bill and not openers)

Animal, Go, Once, Blood, Even Flow, Jeremy, Glorified G, Daughter, Alive, Why Go, Leash, Fuckin' Up, Tearing, Porch

For PJ headline shows mine would be Lollapalooza 07 where they only played 22 songs
