David Bowie's 'Putting Out Fire (with gasoline)' from Cat People is a lost classic:

    Great song. Cool 80s movie.
I was going to name this song for Inglorious Basterds, when they're burning down the theatre.

It's an amazing song! And an amazing scene. I think that movie FANTASTIC. Anyway, you might already know this, but the version in the movie is a new version, still by David Bowie o course, and I think better than the original (not too much different, but definitely improved IMO).

JFK the movie intro. The best use of percussion in a film. Might just be Matt Cameron's favorite. Just sayin'.

i think there was a thread similar to this in the AET section.

But to answer your question this is the answer. Audioslave's "Shadow On The Sun" from Collateral. So you may close this thread now (or move it to AET) ;)

"In Your Eyes" boombox scene from "Say Anything."

(Stone actually had a scene in this movie; although it ended up on the cutting room floor. This thread just became Pearl Jam-relevant again!)

Technically, my original post wasn't meant to be a debate.

It was referencing Cameron Crowe's movie Almost Famous. Since Cameron Crowe also directed PJ20, it became Pearl Jam related.

    So Nah!!!

Seasons by Chris Cornell in Pearl Jam Twenty.... I am not saying this because im a PJ fan boy. Im saying this because the song completely captured the emotion that Cameron was going for at that time.
