My Wu-name is Scratchin’ Mercenary. If I include my middle name it's the Contender. I'll just combine them and be Scratchin' Mercenary the Contender.

As I was getting my name both Raekwon and the RZA came up on shuffle, too. It's like my iPod knew.

I've always been partial to Masta Killa and GZA, but to each his own.

I consider Liquid Swords the tightest of the solo Wu-Albums.

I have to agree... His verse on "Bring Da Ruckus" is intense

RUN DMC and Beasties did more for HipHop to get over, but talent wise. no chance.....Wu Tang Forever.

    True...

    Funny though...

I don't really like RUN-DMC or the Beastie Boys...

Sorry but Raekwons "Only Built for Cuban Linx is the best solo album by any member.
And so you see, I have come to doubt
All that I once held as true
    I stand alone without beliefs
The only truth I know is you.

I do love that album and respect your opinion, but for me it ranks behind Liquid Swords and Return to the 36 Chambers. Biggest let down from the Wu-Fam (not Wu-Proper), has to be Cappadonna's The Pillage.

i would say that Cappa's Pillage was a pleasant surprise. if you bought it when it came out. really there was no hype surrounding it, it just came out. I love the Pillage, lots of great tracks.

return to the 36 is just the best.

Will you probably already know this but I saw a commercial for Quentin Tarantino's new Kung-fu flick coming out and RZA is directing it. Pretty cool indeed!
