wow , i was walking through copenhagen air port and i saw a pj fan holding a poster tube, so was i so i said hi did you enjoy the shows, he said yeah look behind you there is jeff ament.
holy shit there he was just standing with his friend waiting outside a juice bar in the duty free area, so i walked over and asked if i could please have a photo and he said sure no problem<it was my birthday which i forgot to tell him because i was in heaven>. we spoke about his picks and how he doesnt throw many , but my friend i was with got one and he said" i only have 400 per tour made, so count yourself lucky if you have one."he also added that mike has 2000 made each tour,
then we spoke about how i had a huge glove with OTHERSIDE written on it and he saw it every show/i managed to be row2/3 each night.
he said he didnt know why they had it on a setlist then scrubbed it.
then i said thanks for playing green disease for us we had a banner that ed took and said this is a request from somewhere over there and pointed at us,also leatherman which we then had played for us by request, he said "yeah ithought that we played that tight"
with hinsight i should have got the poster i was carrying signed and told him it was my birthday but i was lost in the clouds at just chatting to my hero
