What a major oversight at SB!!

I committed a major error yesterday with regards to the SB show. I assumed the same start time as other shows!! aaahhhhhhhh, SHIT! I was sooooooo pissed off to get out of my car and vaguely hear Hard to Imagine in the far off distance. At first, I was like, okay...its just the preset. Well, it was the preset...along with ALL THE OTHER SONGS until I finally got to my seats at the end of Black! We got there at almost 8 '0 clock & I'm told they started around 7:20 or so. To make it even worse I found out I had 10th row seats in front of Stone!! Those were my best seats ever! I enjoyed the rest of the show, but I have to say I was pretty annoyed with myself for coming late. I felt like Eddie saw when we came in and gave me a bad look.(I'm probably just imagining that). It felt like I was arriving late to a class or something. I was sad to see how many people were in the beer garden while they were playing the first set. I was rushing through them like "Don't you fuckers hear that...Its Pearl Jam!" It was a great night & the crowd around me was great, but I kind of ruined it for myself by being rushed to our seats and not being able to really enjoy the venue. Thank god I still have the Gorge! You can bet I will be getting there extremely early for those shows.

    Yeah, that was the biggest reason I was pissed. I've never heard that song live! At least I got to sing along to it from 10 blocks away.

    Plus, I was with 3 other people who are not quite as big fans, so I was supposed to be the responsible one when it comes to the shows! I felt like an ass! My friends still had a great time, but I was ashamed.

    NO SHAME!!!!! There is to be no shame for that, we all make mistakes....and like you said you still have the BEAUTY of the Gorge......all will be fine.....=)

    that is the reason i show up to every show early!!

    took my GF to her first PJ show this tour, ( it was in detroit, we live in cincinnati ) so we got there right when the doors were openning, thank god our hotel was just down the strip from the arena. i was freaking out, she didnt get it. plus i like to see the openning band, ed always makes a point to let people know he dont like it when people file in after the first act.

    anyway, sucks. sorry.
