The symbol is the plastic insert that fits into some 45 vinyl, known as a spider. PJ have used it several times in various bits of merch, and seeing as it's linked with vinyls many other bands probably have too. Not sure if it was meant to be a tshirt of a particular band, looked pretty new so I assume it's just a generic tshirt.

Thanks for pointing this out. For those familiar with Seattle and the Pike Place Market, there's a woman there that sells shirts (among other things) that are exactly like this but it's available with different colored record adapters (and no text around it). She told me that Matt's wife has some connection to the market and that all the PJ band members have one of these shirts. When I first saw this shirt I was beginning to think she wasn't telling a tale to try and get me to buy the shirt, but now I'm back to thinking it was just BS.
