PEARL JAM TO PLAY MADE IN AMERICA FESTIVAL

It was announced today that Pearl Jam will be playing the headlining slot at the Made In America Festival on Sunday, September 2nd. Check out the schedule here. For ticket information go here.

We are pleased to announce that Pearl Jam is headlining Made in America Music Festival curated by Jay-Z. Made in America takes place Labor Day Weekend (Saturday, September 1st - Sunday, September 2nd) at Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park.

PLEASE NOTE: Made In America Festival will announce Pearl Jam's exact performance date and time in the coming weeks.

In addition to Pearl Jam, this 2-day music festival will include performances from fellow artists like Jay-Z, Passion Pit, Dirty Projectors and much more.

    Not sure if PJ is playing both nights. If theyre not, having to buy a 2 day pass in 2 days seems like a waste.

    Although its $99 for a 2 day pass, not too bad.

    Man this will be a difficult decision! PJ are by and large the only band on the line-up I really want to see. Plus, not much of a festival person. To have a ticket for a 2-day festival and only really want to see 1 headliner, not sure if it's worth it. Plus, I really want to save to see a handful of arena shows, just PJ- I've been dreaming of and saving for that! But who knows when that'll happen next. BUT, on the other hand, it could end up being a lot of fun, and I haven't seen PJ in 2 years.... it's gonna be hard to decide what I'm gonna do!

    Really excited to see some different acts. I just hope this doesn't turn into some shitty Obama campaign although I see it happening. At least the money is going to charity :D

    $99 for a 2 day pass is a good price, to see Soundgarden at Sweden Rock Festival is $160 for a 1 day pass!

    can anyone point me in the directions of hotels that would be close by walking distance to the park since i dont drive

    and what would be the best way public transportation wise to get there from nyc?
