A station that used to be an Alt-rock station turned format to "best of the 80's 90's and today!" stations about 18 months ago. A few months ago, the flipped back to alt-rock and I have heard the studio version of Crazy Mary 2 times this week.

The old WBCN in Boston used to occasionally play full concerts late at night. One time PJ was featured and I turned it on while Leatherman was playing.
As for a studio song...I am totally blanking. Will think on it because this is a great question.
I heard I Got Shit a few of times here last summer. Haven't heard it since. I once called in to request Last Exit and the guy on the phone acted like he had no idea what I was talking about. He said 'we'll see what we can do' to appease me, but they never played it.

Man, I miss 'BCN. I remember the night they went off the air for good, the last thing they played was the 7-11-03 Mansfield show in it's entirety. They did a poll of the top bands in the 41 year history of WBCN and Pearl Jam came in at #1.
As for the least likely song I ever heard on the radio: Let Me Sleep. They played it a couple months ago during WAAF's Holiday chestnut segment.
When Vs. came out WRZX in Indy was playing every track, and believe it or not the played Leash! I'm sure they checked the lyrics sheet figured there was nothin bad there with all those lucky references, and queued it up! It was classic. As I had never heard that song before at the time - and the album was not out yet- I was in a state of double shock: 1. Holy crap this song is awesome; and 2. Omfg I cannot believe how many f bombs are raining down. Great moment.
none because it seems as though the radio stations I can tune into only know Black, Even Flow, Daughter, Better Man, and Wish List. oh, and the occasional Yellow Ledbetter.

I heard the Santa Cruz xmas single once on 107.1 The Peak (local station in the NYC burbs that is beyond awesome) and was very pleasantly surprised! I've also heard them play Crown of Thorns from the PJ20 soundtrack.

"CROWN OF THORNS"
was played on CD101(now 102.5 ) here in Columbus a few weeks ago!!
Had to check to make sure I was actually listening to the RADIO :ugeek:
I've heard that on there before too. 106.7 used to be excellent 90s alternative and then they switched it to GEN X mixed shit (the one that had the pj20 special thing) and now they switched it back to 90s alternative and some present day alternative too. They've been playing Crazy Mary and a ton of TOTD- which was surprising! Much better station now!!!

Nothing that shocking (in the NYC\north east, anyhow) ... but down here (north carolina) ... i'm always Oohed and Ahhhd when some DJ decides to spin
Say Hello To Heaven ...
I just find it hard to imagine your average DJ wanting to throw that on the radio ...
also,
the other day,
for the first time in my life,
I heard
TIMES OF TROUBLE
on the radio ...
and i was almost creeped out by it.

;P
sorry.
know you said "PJ" song
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?
i once heard Of The Girl playing through the speakers at the grocery store
Haha! That's very weird... THIS MORNING I was watching PBS (yeah yeah, my in-laws are in town and they don't have cable, so they come here and insist on watching that, despite us having digital cable and HBO ) and they had a "coming up next on PBS screen" up and the music was Of The Girl. Crazy.

WMMR in Philly played Leash last week. It made for a great ride home from work.
Can't believe I missed that one. They always play Let Me Sleep around Christmas time and I can remember hearing a few random cuts like Crazy Mary and Glorified G but the best was after the Spectrum shows they played recaps of a bunch of songs from the night. I can't remember which ones though because it all blurs together from those nights.

Waiting outside the parking lot for that show, I heard LO2L versions of Betterman and Daughter...I think. That was a long-ass time ago.
But now, we've got this station at http://www.pearljam.com that plays nothing but. YAY! (lol)
Back in the 96-98 times, I heard it a lot. Of course that made sense back then.
Not the same as on radio, but one of my all-time favourite PJ songs. Heard Ole on the radio some time ago, wasn't expecting that at all!
