Just posted this on AET too, but its probably more appropriate here...

A few friends and I recently started an Etsy shop since we're all craft, carpentry, art, vintage enthusiasts and I thought I'd share our store here to get a little more national/international exposure (is that ok, Kat?)

Anyone else sell on Etsy? What have you found to be the best way to sell stuff? I feel like we've been getting a lot of hits and no sales. Our prices might look high but our profit margins really aren't.

(This is why I've been MIA lately)

i never saw this until today

my Etsy shop (my 2nd one) is http://www.Etsy.com/Shop/Jeshiee

Wishing you great luck on etsy! I had a shop before and did fantastically well, but something happened and i let it go....now beginning again...

Headed off to check out your shop now fellow Etsian :)

    EDIT:

i see you have some sales already..congratulations!
i use facebook a lot to promote
and twitter..you get a lot of views...you're right though, maybe only views, but its exposure :)
also, favoriting others shops that you like
adding similar artists to your cirlce

AND i think the best tools are
    1. Making and Sharing Treasuries from your Favorites
    and
    2. Joining Groups and posting often with links
ALSO some groups allow you or encourage you to tag your title lines with an acronym or abbreviation for their group name as sometimes members prefer to buy from and promote from within their own group

You wont see much in the way of sales from our new shop..just getting started..but the old shop did so well...

have fun..come on over and visit my shop sometime

    peace,
    jo
