    2 million without power...

Seattle had a major windstorm back in 2006, left 1 million without power...we were without power for 8 days. It was miserable, a cold front had whipped through and it was highs in the upper 30's lower 40's for the majority of the time, inside the house was about 45 in the day and 30's at night. And it was right at the start of winter so we had about 8 hours of daylight to work with before we were in the dark.
