Enjoyed that song. Read a recent article that said she has around a dozen tracks set aside. Wouldn't se surprised to see a full album from her at some point. Same article also mentioned that The Kills are working on a new album as well.

Love these two. Didn’t know there was a thread about them. Everything Alison does is great. Love her recent solo song It Ain’t Water

The Dead Weather was my intro to her. Loved her ever since. Would LOVE another DW record. I love all of Jack White’s stuff, but that’s my favorite project of his. It’s actually one of my favorite bands, and yet it’s just a side-project to all of its members. That’s how good the four of them are.

yeah, i hadn't heard of her or the kills until DW. that's what made me check out the kills. that first DW record slayed me. it was a new band that had already topped by bucket list of bands to see. they were so intense in all the video of the live shows i'd seen. really hope i get to see them at some point.

New York is alright. Don't care for LA Hex. Loved their last album but I'm not to encouraged by these two songs. But we'll see.

I agree about the songs. We'll see how the rest of the album goes. Wouldn't mind seeing them again.

they and the Dead Weather are bucket list bands for me. Doubt I'll ever get to see either. Kills have never toured Canada, and I'm guessing DW is either done or just a studio act now.

yeah, most bands hit the big three, but I said "tour canada". playing the big 3 is not touring canada.

I misinterpreted what you meant by toured Canada (thought you meant never played in Canada). And the bug three in Canada are nowhere near you. That kinda sucks.

it really does. I miss so many shows being in the belly button of North America. it costs an arm and a leg to see any "bucket list" bands. Buddy flew to Toronto to see Radiohead. it was the show they cancelled when the roadie got killed. A co worker flew to Detroit to see Meatloaf. He cancelled last minute due to illness.

I was scared shitless traveling to Seattle to see Cantrell after he had had cancelled several shows on his tour due to Covid. But I got lucky.

Just getting home from seeing them in Boston tonight. You are in for a treat. What an incredible band. They played for about 90 minutes and played the majority of their new album. I would also recommend getting there to see the opening band, The Paranoyds. They are signed to Third Man Records, and they sounded good as well.

Looks like they played the same setlist as previous night. Still a good show. I thought they had a backing band, forgot it was just those two live. Couple killer songs live which I liked are Friend My Little Brain (which I never heard live) and URA Fever (which is always good live). The Paranoyds were pretty good also, like you said.
