Pearl Jam Sightings

hey, kat, this is a good thread idea. you might want to consider this being a sticky, and maybe get rid of some of the other ones. here's the deal. when someone sees or hears pearl jam in the media, i.e. on a commercial, or on a tv show, or in a magazine, etc., you post it in this thread. what this will do is not clog up the first page with similar threads and it can serve as a reference point for the fans.

so, here's my post as an example

i just heard elderly woman on fx for the commercial for the season premiere for rescue me, the final season

good idea? i think so

    But aren't you the one who keeps posting this same thread/idea over and over?? If I wasn't on my iPhone I'd search and check.

    But also there are a few threads already listing every pearl jam appearance or reference ranging from a mention on saved by the bell to a pj song on brothers and sisters. And I don't see it really being sticky worthy.

    EDIT: ok maybe it wasn't you but i remember a little while ago some one posted this same thread idea pretty much three or 4 times in a day or so.

    I parked behind a Toyota Highlander that was covered in EV stickers in West Seattle last week.

    Saw a white truck with a sweet Pearl Jam New Hampshire license plate at the Manchester mall a few months back. Wish I had a PJ sticker to throw on their window.
    Wind this thing up.

    Live in a town of about 12,000 and was at a store here and some guy saw my PJ Seattle sticker and gave me a thumbs up and asked if I was "going to Denver on the 22nd". Never thought there would be any fans in this little place. Made me smile big!!!

    Yep. Sounds funny, but was really surprised that a fellow fan lives here. Almost everyone in this town listens to Phish, widespread panic, bluegrass or other jam bands.

    The snow is pretty deep here which is good because the ski mountain opens today. How much snow did you get there?

    Anytime there is a nationally televised Seahawks game, as expected, I always hear one or two Pearl Jam songs during the bumpers. I can tell if the person selecting the bumper music is a more knowledgeable fan when the PJ songs are more obscure versus the standard "Even Flow" or what not. Expect to hear them many times on Thanksgiving evening when they are on national TV versus the 49ers! Go Hawks!

    Only about five inches so far, but we're in a little valley like book nestled right under PP. So the southern sun usually melts it pretty quick as it warms up, while the northern faces remain somewhat snowy, so that we get this effect..image

    I live in Melbourne Australia and my rego plate on my car is PLJAM about two years ago a car past me hitting the horn with a thumbs up gesture,as he got in front I saw his rego plate was PRLJAM,we pulled over and shot the shit about the obvious,exchanged numbers ,was a great guy
