I am so excited about them officially giving us the details on the new box and have already ordered mine, but count me in with the fans that consider No Code and Yield to be the greatest 1-2 punch in their catalog. The thoughts of what they could do with this is consuming me... Randall's Island anyone?

this one will be next year for sure... hopefully they will have more material to split those up...
"When we put out the Ten box set a few years ago we had enough content to justify the cost of a box set," Pearl Jam's manager Kelly Curtis tells Rolling Stone. "We didn't have enough content this time, so we put the two albums together so there's value for the fans."

They could do No Code / Yield / Binaural all in one and stop with the sets for awhile since those albums are all over 10 years
DEGENERATE FUK
This place is dead

I wanna race..with the sundown..I want a last breath..I don't let out...
I would not include Binaural in it. I think the sets should be devided based on the drummer history as it really influences the sound/style of the albums.
I really, really, REALLY hope Randall's Island night 2 9/29/96 is included in that box. I'd pre-order now. Take my money now without an expected delivery date.
give us both RI shows! They go hand and hand
I think the general concensus is that No Code/Yield will be in the same box (the "Jack Irons" box) and Binaural and Riot Act will be in the last box (the "Matt Cameron" box). That being said, that most recent interview with EV seemed to suggest that there might not be any more boxes (at least for a while). He said something like "we're done with the past for a while... if we continue to look in the rearviewmirror, we're going to crash."
Yeah I can see them waiting a couple of years like they did between Ten and this one, but since they don't seem to be waiting the full 20 years on any of these so far, I hope it comes sooner rather than later.

Plus there's all those Polaroids.
I also think that it will be the era skimmed over in the PJ movie, so there should be, again, more to work with from this era. i can't see Yield getting much time on the big screen, even tho it might be their best album.
I sorta think the Self Pollution tape should be in the next one, being that Jack Irons was officially announced during the show. Plus it really captures the messy, arty Edge that was unfolding at the time for the band, and that would continue for a couple more years.
I love that era so much, every bit of that era just floored me when it trickled out into the world. Self Pollution radio, Jan, 95, all the way thru to Given To Fly being "leaked" to radio stations before the album came out. Every bit of it was amazing.
Except No Way. That song sucks.
heehee
cheers!!!
Bandaged hand in hand?
