Where do you hide?

My husband just yelled at me on the phone again and then hung up. The yellow engine light came on in the car and he is rightfully upset - it's not my car and I don't have the damn book in front of me to tell him what the light means. That would be with him in the car!!!

Anyway, I feel so sad and frustrated that he yelled at me like he did - then hung up on me - my question is . . .

When it all gets to be too much - when you just want to curl up and go away - what PJ song do you turn to? I need one to take me someplace where I can hide and lick my wounds.

Sorry, I can't even think straight.
I wish a guy like Eddie, would like me.

I haven't done it lately, but I used to listen to No Code in its entirety when I needed to take a deep breath and escape from a rough situation. I think can understand where you're coming from here. Music is like an old friend - so comforting.

    Hope you're feeling better soon.

The Ten album. It's rocks so well that it distracts me out of any funk I'm in. It's hard not to sing along since the songs are so well known. All that air getting into and out of your lungs would make you feel better.

When it's just one of those days I usually just sit in the dark or a dimly lit room and listen to every PJ song I have on my computer... can't go wrong with EVERY song!

:o I noticed that too... If I were married and my husband called me and yelled at me for the yellow light coming on in the car  well, to put it mildly, he'd better not expect his dinner to be ready for him or for me to fetch him a beer when he gets home

I was thinking the same thing.

I don't want to get into your private life, but from what you described, it's time to look for help. As stated above, you are not the problem.

Far from therapy, just a well informed recommendation.

Would you just pass by if a woman was being mistreated? I wouldn't be able too.

I don't think PJ has a song for your situation... unless they have a song we're not aware of called "Fuck Off Asshole"

    "Parting Ways" ;)

    Behind her eyes, there’s curtains
And they’ve been closed to hide the flames, remains
    She knows their future’s burning
But she can smile just the same, same
And though her mood is fine today
There’s a fear they’ll soon be parting ways

    Standing like a statue
A chin of stone, a heart of clay, hey
And though he’s too big of a man to say
There’s a fear they’ll soon be parting ways

    Drifting away..................
