The fact that a someone willing to serve their country can't based on who they love is ridiculous. And troops are facing bullets and rocket attacks daily, I can't believe any would give a fuck about whether the guy who's next to them is gay.

it is a damn shame that in "the land of the free" we still discriminate against people that seem to be different from the majority for one reason or another. usually it is something they can not control like sexual orientation, gender, skin color, or physical ability/disability....
