    I had a wonderful time near Sleeping Bear Dunes in northern Michigan over the weekend with the family. Last year the Midwest had a fleeting "summer" but I think this year is going to make up for it!

    Here is what folks do around here to beat the heat. Kind of nice to have a big river running through the middle of the city.

    We have a ton here in Georgia, sometimes when I step outside it just makes me laugh, there are so many, then one will come hang out with me on the porch when I sit. I think they are tiny little miracles 8-)

    one evening in Milwaukee when we were still in the apartment JB and I came home late and we experienced aurora borealis right there in our front yard, unbelieveable!
    Meteor showers too, in very black skies, like the Apostle Islands on a beach on a deserted island thats right up there too 8-)

    Same for my Sis she is moving back to Phoenix later this summer. She's been in WI the past 5 years maybe longer. She is very much looking forward to getting away from the harsh winters again and get back to the hot hot summers.
