I know a lot of people here have met guys in the band, which is wicked cool. I haven't, but the other day I was reminded of something.
I had to google myself to check on the specifics of a published paper I had contributed to. and when I googled my name, this USA Today story came up from a few years ago where they took reader questions for Mike McCready and he answered mine. And I realized, crap, I kinda talked to Mike McCready, that's weird. But then I remembered, shit that wasn't the first time. A couple years before that I had heard that Stone was being interviewed on a radio station in Seattle, so I listened online and sent my question in via email. The DJ read my question, commented that it was very interesting, and stone answered it. and when I thought about it, that was even weirder because it was in real time.
and then of course there's the time I communicated what I wanted to hear for an opener telepathically to Ed
so anyone have any stories about communicating with pearl jam non face-to-face?
