    I turned on the game last night right as he came up for that at bat and passed out about 15 minutes later. Good time to catch the game.

    That was an absolute bomb. I keep watching the replay and just can't believe how high it went. Like it cleared the wall by 75-100 feet in height in a big league stadium

    Might be a good thing if he opts out. Gardner is finally gonna get the 20+ hr he's been trying for since he got here.

    Sickening. Everything about that stadium is a fucking joke. Love all the stadium commercials on YES trying to get people to bring their kids

    Reeeeally don't want them to deal Mateo, but at the same time, the free agent pitching market sucks and you might be losing Tanaka.

    Uff.  That is a tough one.  Good haul for them, though I guess you have to be happy trading two injured prospects and Mateo for a controllable pitcher.

    I think I am okay with this.  I am not a huge Gray fan, but they gave up pieces with risk.

    Love the yanks getting some runs there. Stupid to hit the lead off hitter with those guys coming up. Dummy

    Having a bit of a tough time swallowing this trade.  If those guys come back healthy, this could look really good for the A's, especially if Gray isn't all that great.  If they don't and Gray is good, it'll be a win for the Yanks.  Gotta do it and at least he is under control for a couple more years. The core is still here and there are still kids on the way.  Assuming Torres makes it to the big leagues they'll have a young core of Severino, Torres, Sanchez, Judge and Frazier.  That is not too shabby.  Include Hicks, Didi in that conversation and the makings of a very good team for a while.

    I really liked Kaprelian and Mateo, though I get Mateo doesn't necessarily have a position on this team moving forward.

    Weird C.C. being taken out early. Even when he would give up 5 or more runs. Girardi would leave him until the 7th or 8th.
