T-Shirts in Philadelphia...Help!! Please.

Hi,

I'm hoping one of you can help me out at the Philly shows.

The band has been selling a t-shirt each night that sort of apes the local sports team's jerseys with the number on the back being the date of the concert.

I'm very interested in getting the Phillies/PJ and Phillies/Eagles t-shirts as I'm a big fan of both teams and, of course, Pearl Jam.

I won't be at the shows, I live in Oregon. But I grew up outside Philly and so that's why I'm interested. If you're going to the shows and are willing to buy the shirts for me, I'll buy one for you for your troubles. I can send you a SASE envelope to make it easy for shipping and, of course, the $$ to cover the costs of the shirts.

Thanks, I really appreciate it.

If PJ wants to do something really cool, for the most important local sports team, they need to do something for Penn State!

It's just a bonus that they played their longest and greatest show ever on the Penn State campus.

are you serious? penn state football BLOWS and is barely a factor in the Philadelphia area..unless they are winning. there has been zero coverage of penn state football since they lost (for the second year in a row) to Iowa. thats what happens when you load your schedule with a bunch of cupcakes like temple, syracuse, akron and fucking eastern Illinois...not to mention the horrendous big10 schedule

Has the band actually been producing shirts that mimic the colors of each pro team in a given city, or has it been just one? Because if it is going to be just one, I'd most definitely bet that the Philly shirt will be based on the Sixers, or Flyers, not the Eagles or Phillies. Seems to me to be a no-brainer, given that the shows are taking place in the Spectrum (long-time home of the Sixers & Flyers).

First off I never said football, Penn State has one of the most successful sports programs in the country. Secondly, name one Philadelphia University that has a better football team? Thirdly, Philadelphia was devoid of a championship team for 25 years, until they won lowly baseball last year. PSU was big ten champions 2 out of the last 4 years. You do realize that you talk smack on Temple, a Philadelphia school? The big ten may not be the best conference out there, but they are still light years ahead of the Big Least!

Beyond the fact that they haven't been doing football or hockey ones at all (have they?), the band is predominantly into baseball and basketball. If they do just one, it'll be the Phillies. If they do two, it'll be Phillies and 76ers. No question.

That's because it's Seattle. I highly doubt they'd do it anywhere else.

They have done 3 Hockey ones (Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary)

Hmmm... all of those cities have something in common.

Yes they have done football...At the Seattle show they did one for the Seahawks. I know they played 4 nights in LA and only did the Dodgers and Lakers, but that could also be b/c they don't have a football team and hockey sucks (LA Kings.) Although in Philly the Phillies, the Eagles, and the Flyers are kicking ass while the sixers are clowns. So there is a better chance they will do all 4

I doubt it. There were 4 LA shows and only 2 different shorts, so why would Philly be any different?

I thought... maybe a cool Philly shirt would be one that just says:

"I wish we were at the Garden" on the front and on the back the pic of Vick running from a pitbull.

anyone dressing as a Broad Street Bully in a Flyers jersey and those plain, white hockey masks from the 70's would have a double theme going...or maybe someone can go as the Philly Phanatic?
