Black live

anyone have a favorite from a show (any year) where eddie just knocks you on your ass? where he makes you feel so much of his emotion? it honestly could be most performances, but does anyone have like a "go to" version? i know unplugged is up there for me, but looking for something less out there

    I've always loved the one taht is on "live on two legs". And my secodn fav is the one from Antwerp 2006, because I was there (and because this version is amazing, really).

    Take a listen to Berlin 2006 while you are at it. Possibly my favourite version in recent years/tours.

    LO2L is also up there, but I think mike is the one who makes that particular version so great. Nothing special from Eddie.

    L2L is my favorite too. The band nailed it. I love its progression as it slows down and how Stone just quietly strikes those dark chords!! Those minutes of music make my insides tingle!

    That is a stunning version and the first time I can remember Mike completely owning Black. And aside from Ed's shot voice, the version of Blood from that show is a thing of wonder too.

    Not that other Black versions aren't amazing, but this one is great.
    Montreal one from night before is pretty good too ;)
    But Ottawa was a special show in general so :D

    The LO2L version has probably my favorite McCready solo ever. Just really powerful stuff. Vocally, yeah, I don't think unplugged has been topped.
