Los Angeles Hotel for $79/night on Priceline
Just thought I'd pass on that I scored a room at the Beverly Garland Holiday Inn for Oct 6th and 7th on Priceline for $79/night.
Here's the skinny:

Click the 'Hotels' tab. In the 'Name Your Own Price for hotels' section, type 'Burbank' into the city field and pick your dates. Click 'Bid Now'.
Select the 'Burbank - Universal City - Glendale' area of the city.
Choose '3 Star Upscale'
Enter $79 as your bid.
This was my first offer and it went through so I'm curious to know if I could have got it for lower... you may want to try but if it's not accepted, you have to wait 24hrs to try again (although there are ways around that if necessary).
This is what I ended up with; http://www.beverlygarland.com. Looks like it's close to the venue; I'm pretty happy with it. If you have trouble, PM me and I'll try to help. Good luck!
