Well i wouldnt keep the zip file, especially if hard drive space is a factor. It doesnt really matter. You can always zip it back up if you need to. If i was to have a back up hard drive I would maybe keep it.

Sometimes having files in zips, compresses it and makes the file size smaller. The only other advantage is that the show is stored in one convienent file, not a folder with 30 or so files in it.
