I just coined the term "SPACERHATERS"

    i'm with you!!! this album is slowly becoming a huge favorite of mine... no code will always be my very fave, but... backspacer is creeping up there with binaural....

    the shortness is one of it's strengths.. there are no throwaway tracks, in my opinion.. there is usually at least one on every album...

    In all honesty, I don't mind everyone getting to share their opinion. But I would prefer if the naysayers would stay the hell out of the positive threads.

    I agree. if it's not your cup of tea, so be it, but I love the hell out of it, and no amount of whining is going to change my mind.

    How is that coming out of the woodwork? I have posted on here over 3500 times which means I'm obviously here a lot (and it also means I'm a big dork). "Coming out of the woodwork" would imply that I'm never here and I have just come to hate on Backspacer.

    And with that being said, I'm not a Backspacer hater. I'm just totally indifferent to it. No matter how hard I try to listen to the whole thing, I just can't. With previous PJ albums, I was obsessed with them for at least a month after their release and listened to them non-stop. With Backspacer, I make it through a few songs before turning it off and going with a Beatles remaster instead.

    Well I'm a big fan of Got Some. Gonna See My Friend is okay but I really don't like the chorus. Unthought Known and Force of Nature.....I just can't get into them. But I can't truly judge them until I see them performed live or hear a high-quality boot.

    I dont hate the album but i do dislike it. Not coming out of the woodwork just trying to come on this board to be turned over from the darkside...I've listened to it 4 times and i can honestly say that its my least favorite album. Maybe time will tell and it'll catch on. Do you people really think this is better than Riot act though ?? i cant even comprehend that...ha ha
