Hey all!

I’m going to be making my first pilgrimage to Seattle 9/18-23 for the shows at the Key Arena. One of my favorite things to do when visiting a new city is to see the local sports teams and 9/19 should be an excellent opportunity. USC is visiting UW at 12:30 and the M’s are playing the Yanks at 7:10. I was thinking of trying to hit up both games, maybe find a good bar in between.

Anyone interested in getting a group together?

I am planning on going to this game, as well. I toured Safeco Field a couple of years ago and it's a beautiful ballpark.

Actually, I think I am going to the game on Sunday.

Yeah, I thought about Sunday too. Do you have tickets yet?

No, not yet. I'll have to get them off of StubHub.

I see. I was thinking of taking my chances with scalpers, the M's should be out of it by then. Anyone familiar with the best way to get Huskies tickets? I know they went on sale this morning, but coming off such a bad year I would assume they aren't exactly a hot commodity.......

a M's game can be fun, so check it out if you're in town, but UW games are a blast - even though they'll end up getting destroyed by USC. Check out the Dutchess (bar) near Husky Stadium if you want a real UW expierence.

I'm going to The M's vs. Yankees on Sunday. I got tickets right from the Seattle Mariners website. Looked like there were plenty of seats. You may want to check that out first, before Stub Hub.

Sounders FC on Saturday and the M's on Sunday. That is my plan. I would rather watch Sounders than the Huskies. Let me know if anyone wants to meet up at either game and grab a brew. Tix are still available for the M's but I will have to figure something out for the Sounders.

I'm going to the Huskies game on Saturday. Got a ticket from them directly, front row in the upper deck on the 50 yard line. Love going to Penn State games, so I figured I might as well check out another school's stadium. Should be an interesting game with the new coach and the USC ties.

Sorry I only pulled a single, the pairs were way up in the stands from what I could tell. If you get a ticket let me know and maybe we can meet up prior to the game.

Michigan here...would also like to go. Cant believe how pricey tickets are considering the quality of the team. Guess Im still used to student prices at the Big House. Can anybody vouch for what the bleachers are like or how hard it would be to scalp student tickets???

Big Ten country is going to be invading the Pac 10! Looks like the official site is sold out now, I'd be down for going in on StubHub tickets or just scalping outside if anyone can describe how that works.

The Dutchess, huh? I'll have to check it out, maybe people going to the game can have a meet up there?

There were still some decent singles available on the Gohuskies.com site. Pick your section on the map rather then letting them select the "best available". There was a single 5 rows up from my seat in section 44, which is right on the 50 yard line and across from the student section. Didn't really look to closely for pairs but there seem to be some left as well, just higher up in the stands.

Can anyone explain how the seating chart works at that stadium? Does the upper deck go A-Z and then AA-AZ, BA-BZ, etc...?

Yeah, I just pulled up one in Sec 44, Row E. From the seating map below, it looks like that is the 5th row.

I might be going to the Friday or Sunday game since I have the college game Saturday. I'll have to figure out what I want to do and when.

If anyone is interested I am seeing that the Friday night game has some good seats available.

Front row balcony between home and 3rd for $35 a ticket

    -or-

33 rows off the field for $70 a ticket.

Anyone interested in pairing up for the game Friday? If so, let me know and we can decide on the tickets.

Thought I would give this a couple of bumps heading into next weekend! I pm’d a few other members and am hoping to find some people who want to go to take in the USC/Washington game and/or an M’s game (or even just meet up for a pre-game beer). Any other takers? Thanks.

I'm looking forward to it! Was up at Penn State last weekend so I already got the itch for another game. I'll be cheering on the Huskies, can't stand USC... for obvious reasons... Rose Bowl last year... that hurt...

This game was fantastic. I was sitting in the end zone and when the kicker for Washington lined up to attempt the kick, the USC fans all exited. I'll never forget that.
