    Heartless Bastards are great. I was suppose to see them open for Gaslight Anthem some months back but they were dropped off the bill at the last moment. Hope to catch them some time soon.

    yup--they are. they've played the last 3 years & are awesome live. my wife & i went to an aftershow last year & Emo's in Austin & got to meet & hang out with the band. they even gave us a free poster & signed it! i think they've permanently relocated to Austin in the last year or so.

    I recommend listening to the 'Swamp Song.' This song is killer live. I did not know their stuff when I saw them open for the Gaslight Anthem and they played an awesome set. Seemed like the entire crowd was into the show.
