questions about secret shows

I've got some questions concerning PJ secret shows.

Does it happen frequently? Did it the last 4-5 years?
Is it usually posted here on the 10c website (I guess not) or if it's only for locals?
Is it small venue? Where?

    lol. I can't see a surprise show at say an 18,000 seat hockey arena doing too well :ugeek:

    the don't happen too often. I think the last was, what, '05 at easy street? they used to happen way more back in the day. i'm thinking slim's cafe, those moore theatre shows, santa barbara, etc...slim's cafe in '93 is one of my fav shows eve, actually.

    The last secret pj show was 06 at the fonda in LA. The last ed secret show was in seattle last year. Secret shows are usually for industry people in recent years. There not posted on the board cause well it woudnt be a secret, now would it. I have no problem with the band doing secret shows nor do I care if there for industry people or for companies like the one in hawaii that ed just did. I wish pj and ed would do them a lot often but probably don't cause to many people would bitch. It be funny to see the band do a club tour under there fake names that they have used over the years.

    The Henry Fonda show in LA in '06 wasn't a secret show. It was for KROQ listeners only, meaning the only way to get tickets was to win them on the radio...the time, date, and location of the show was known well in advance.

    There were a bunch of people waiting outside, and after PJ had played about three songs, they let us all in for the rest of the show...

    It ended up not being as badass as you might think...Obviously it was awesome to see them in such a small venue, but the vast majority of people there weren't huge fans, they had just lucked out on the radio, so the vibe wasn't anything like, say, the Vic show...

    Shouldn't the Beacon qualify as 'secret'... since 10c doesn't even acknowledge it happened ;)

    I have heard rumours about a secret London show when they are over in the U.K via someone in the industry, but i do not know if it is true!
