Very cool... Not surprising though. I saw Eddie and Rage Against the Machine on the same night back in 1999 at Alpine Valley.

Plus how could you be in a band with Chris Cornell without being a fan of Pearl Jam?

Tom Morello listening to Rage for pleasure?
AskPearlJam: PearlJama101-guest says: Who's idea was it for Eddie to play banjo on "Soon Forget"?
Eddie: I don't know whose idea it was but it was turned down.

So, by deductive reasoning, Tom is down with some Timberland!

I dont see one reason why he wouldnt?

Could you imagine having written RATM's debut? I think I'd find pleasure in that every single day

I'm not saying it's wrong or taboo or anything like that, I just never contemplated someone saying "you know what I want to listen to? XXXXX" And XXXXX happens to be something they created.

    Also......

"Vedder had several stints in San Diego area bands, including Surf and Destroy and The Butts. One of those bands, called Indian Style, included future Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave drummer Brad Wilk."

He's in a band with Cornell, has played with DMB & Tool, opens for Jane's ... not surprised that he is a PJ fan. ;)

For a moment there I thought you were going to apply deductive reasoning to say that Timberland is a Pearl Jam fan since he's basically Cornell's band now.
