Moving to Providence area: Need help from P.J. Fans

I am from Arkansas, so this will be a huge change for me. I need to know what areas around Providence are good to live in. I will be renting, at least for the first year and will be working in woonsocket, R.I. so keep that in mind :)

To keep it P.J. Related, I didn't realize Mansfield, MA was so close!!! Hellz yeah! Maybe now I can see three shows in a row!
